About AIKetra
AIKetra is a directory of AI tools, organized by what they're actually used for: chat, writing, image, video, coding, agents, and more. We also run a free suite of browser-based calculators and converters at tools.aiketra.com. We built it because most "best AI tools" lists are either outdated, generated with no human review, or thinly disguised ads. AIKetra is neither. It's a working reference we maintain because we use it ourselves.
What's in the directory
Each listing covers what a tool does, who it's for, how to get started, and how it compares to similar tools. We write the overview, feature list, and comparisons ourselves based on the tool's own site and product documentation. We don't auto-generate listings from scraped data, and we don't publish star ratings or review scores, since we don't run controlled user testing to back them up.
How tools get added
- We add tools we've used, seen recommended by people we trust, or that show up repeatedly in a category we're tracking.
- Anyone can submit a tool for consideration. There's no fee, and submitting doesn't guarantee inclusion.
- We don't accept payment in exchange for a listing, a better category placement, or a more favorable description.
- We don't use affiliate links on tool listings. If that changes, we'll disclose it on the page, not bury it.
- Sponsored placements, if we ever run them, will be labeled as such, not mixed into the regular directory listings.
How we evaluate and update listings
Every listing is written from the tool's own site, documentation, and hands-on use, not scraped or auto-generated. We check pricing, feature lists, and free-tier limits against the vendor's current page each time we add a category or refresh an existing batch of listings; there's no fixed monthly schedule, but every tool page carries a "Last reviewed" date so you can see exactly how current it is.
Pricing and free-tier limits for third-party products change without notice, and we can't re-verify every listing continuously between refreshes. If you spot something out of date or wrong, the fastest way to get it fixed is to tell us. We correct confirmed errors as soon as we can.
