A concrete walkthrough: a multi-file feature without leaving the editor

Open the repo in Cursor, start Agent, and describe the feature in one paragraph including the test you expect. On Hobby you will hit the Agent cap after a few real tasks — that is by design.

Pro ($20) is enough if Agent is a few times a week. If Agent is how you write most of the code, Cursor's own pricing page says to buy Pro+ ($60, 3× Pro limits) rather than sitting on Pro and leaking into usage-based overage.

Ultra ($200) is 20× Pro and only makes sense after Pro+ still rate-limits you. If you refuse to leave VS Code proper, GitHub Copilot Pro at $10 is cheaper for Tab-only work.
