EverArt MCP server
Last verified: 2026-09
Generate images through EverArt.
Official reference Browser & search Needs a secret Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, VS Code
What it does
Official example that generates images through the EverArt API. You pay EverArt, not MCP. Fine as a demo; not a substitute for Midjourney or a local image tool.
It sits in Browser & search: Three different jobs get mixed up here.
Good for
- Generate a concept image from a prompt inside the chat.
- Iterate on a visual without opening a separate image site.
- Produce a mock illustration to drop into a doc.
- Keep image gen out of the coding servers.
Tools
- generate_image — Create an image from a prompt.

Windsurf remote MCP: use serverUrl instead of url if the block below is HTTP.
One-liner: npx -y @modelcontextprotocol/server-everart
Secrets it wants: EVERART_API_KEY
How to get started
- Get an EverArt API key.
- Set EVERART_API_KEY. Ask for a single test image and check billing.
Access risk
Each call is billed. Prompts and outputs go to EverArt.
When to skip it
Skip it if you already generate images in the host (Claude/Cursor) or a dedicated image tool.
Instead: Fetch.

FAQ
Is this Midjourney or DALL·E?
No. It is EverArt via Anthropic's reference server. Quality and ToS are EverArt's.
Does it edit my Figma file?
No. Pixels out. For design files use Figma or Canva.
What does it cost?
Whatever EverArt bills for the key you put in.
Why is it in Browser & search?
It is a generative web API, not a local folder. The category is 'not files / not git'.
